Artist Statement

My art celebrates the ordinary and looks past the obvious.

I have a strong fascination with anything vintage and like to juxtapose everyday items from the past.

Part of what's so intoxicating about nostalgia is that it offers a temporary escape, connects me to my roots and allows me to tell my own story through art. 

It reminds us that beauty lies in the imperfection that can always be repurposed.
